LCHF my Ass

I tried it for two days and I felt like shit for two days. My blood sugar was all over the place and it freaked me out. I have had such amazing control and suddenly not having it made me feel crazy. I did some research again and found out that you have to bolus insulin for protien. I have no friggin idea how that all works. So this week I am going to contact a dietician and see what they say. I am also going to kick my ass back to the gym tomorrow. I have had a few days break and I am missing killing myself.....

Losing the flab....

So I remembered I had this blog from way back. In fact it is one of many blogs that I have had in the past. I have decided to write again and blog my journey on my weight loss. I started my weight loss journey back in September 2013. To date I have lost a total of 45lbs. And yes I am pissed that it isn't more. So yesterday I changed everything I was doing.....

I have type 1 diabetes. I have had it for 33 years. I know that this is holding me back from losing the weight I need to lose. I decided to start on the LCHF diet. (Low Carb High Fat) The reason behind this is the less carbs I eat the less insulin I have to take. Insulin stores fat and therefore makes it harder to lose weight.

And here we go again.. hello blogging world!!
